My All-Time Favorite White Wine
This is my favorite white wine of all time.
Hands down, absolute fave, nothing makes me happier.
I shipped a case of this home from Burgundy, and it’s just perfection. But, you don’t have to buy this exact same Louis Jadot Saint-Aubin to taste the magic; give ANY Saint-Aubin a try.
Why do I love Saint-Aubin so much?
Saint-Aubin is in Burgundy and is home to beautiful Chardonnays that are both rich and precise. I love those contrasting qualities. I also love that you can find better bargains here than in neighboring Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet.
Next time you’re looking at the French section of a wine list, flip to the whites, and check out the Burgundy options. Is there a Saint-Aubin? Look at the price. Then take a look at the Meursaults and Puligny-Montrachets. BIG difference. Ask the sommelier what they think of the Saint-Aubin. I’d be shocked if they didn’t smile, impressed with your choice.
Chin!
