Sarah Jessica Parker Makes Really Good Wine

SJP has done it again.

Her Invivo X Sarah Jessica Parker Pinot Noir 2022 is good, really good….91 points from James Suckling good.

I tried out her newest wine (available at wine.com for $24.99 and at totalwine.com for $25.99) and it is a lovely, light New Zealand Pinot Noir, just perfect for spring and summer.

This wine has a dark cranberry color in the glass, with a transparency that tells you it’s a lighter Pinot Noir. It smells like dusty dry earth, powdery rose, and red cherry. It tastes soft, tart, and smooth, with more cherries and some strawberry, and a little bit of barnyard on the back end.

It’s medium bodied, and was a great match for a veggie pizza on the grill. We enjoyed a second bottle with some good friends—and no food at all—and it was lovely solo too. My next move will be to try it a little chilled on a hot day.

I get a lot of questions about whether any celebrities make decent wines. The answer is yes, and Sarah Jessica Parker is top of the list.
